The International Association of Professional Business Consultants is a new membership organization created to provide education and business development services for people working as business consultants.

As a volunteer organization, IAPBC aims to provide access to information about cost-effective ways for consultants to learn and develop their businesses. In future, IAPBC plans to launch a variety of member services, including a quarterly electronic newsletter, Today's Professional, and an online directory of members.

Membership is open to professional business consultants who may join as professional members, and to other individuals who may join as associate members. There is currently no cost to join IAPBC, however, applicants for professional membership agree to abide by a code of ethical conduct

Clayton Warholm serves as the volunteer Director of the International Association of Professional Business Consultants. A former regional director for the Canadian Management Centre, an affiliate of American Management Association Worldwide, Clayton is a working consultant who has guest lectured in management courses at the University of Calgary.

You can read IAPO Director Clayton Warholm's article on "How to Avoid Problems Between Consultants and Clients" at the Free Library Online.

If you are interested in getting involved with IAPBC, you are invited to join the organization.
